Our first day in Barcelona yesterday was a busy one. We spent part of the day in the Gothic Quarter where we saw a peaceful demonstration by representatives of the Catalonians who want independence. We found a charming restaurant nearby where we had paella and wine. Our waiter, George provided us with a full account of his views about this serious political conflict.
