Dick and Susan came over in the afternoon and we all went to the Museum of Anthropology to catch the current calligraphy exhibit. It's such an amazing place and I will look forward to going many times and participating in some of their programs. It was interesting to walk across campus as we hadn't really done that yet. There is a large concrete area on East Mall now and there was a group playing cricket of all things...quite aggressive cricket actually. And there was a basketball hoop and room to have a bit of a game. Then to Mahoney's for dinner. Now enjoying a wonderful sunset and we'll probably head for a swim and hot tub later since it was a lot of walking today.
Update: We did head down for a swim and the hot tub was just so wonderful. We may be making this a before bedtime activity.
I love this Bill Reid piece and now they have easy chairs where you can sit and there is taped info. good to sit down and good to hear more about it.
