Of course, our first stop was Trader Joe's and picked up all the essentials and they even had Calvados (apple brandy from France)...sometimes that doesn't come in until Dec. It was very warm...high 80's but cool in the morning so we even had the heat on to take the chill off. I can't believe I didn't take a single photo but getting settled in, finding where everything is, and learning all the electronics took a while. The owners have a big binder with everything you need to know and even print outs of menus from lots of restaurants. We will be going to old favourites but are going to try some new ones as well.
It's really a perfect place for us since there is a good desk with all sorts of supplies, a printer, and lots of reading lights. And the beds are top quality like hotel beds. You can't always count on these things in vacation rentals.
We seem to get a gazillion channels on the TV so I guess we might watch something at some point but we are spending the evening so far listening to our music and even doing a little dancing....
