Well, of course they will fix it but so sad to see it destroyed. It's very special to me. Our family spent many summer evenings in White Rock having dinner on the beach. My Dad would come home from work and tell my mom to pack up whatever we were having for dinner and that we were going to have dinner on the beach in White Rock. Dinner was cooked on a Coleman stove. And wonderful warm swims afterward and sometimes an ice cream cone as a treat.
From Seaside Signs:
On this day in 2013, snow covered the iconic White Rock Pier. Today, the windstorm destroyed a good portion of the pier as waves and loose boats crashed into it. Sad times. Captured White Rock, British Columbia, Canada ~ TBT December 20, 2013
