Eight4Nine

We went to this restaurant for the first time on Sunday. Wow...this is a real keeper!  They have great decor and food is fabulous and a good quality $5 a glass Cab (a really generous pour too) in their bar at all times. We're not big on breakfast and brunch out but they have a Scottish breakfast (one of the owners is Scottish) which sounds great and a perfect pairing would be the Deep Fried Bacon Bloody Mary. The breakfast is a Scotch egg, rasher of English bacon, banger, and potato scone.

It's in the Uptown Design district  so had fun wandering around and looking at stuff.

They brought this mini coat rack so we didn't have to put our hats and my purse on the floor.

The bar area.

Jim's steak-frites. This would be a perfect size for me. Jim still might get some.

My calamari to die for. Elaine would have loved it.

These are the overhead lights in the bathroom.

One of the dining areas...they have three.

The outdoor patio has great views of the mountains.
