I do enjoy these although one criticism is that too much of the "suspense" was around whether Lane and Darling got out of their predicaments. We know the author is probably never going to kill them off since they are central. It still interesting to see how she does it. It will be interesting to see what she does in the next one. Other people need to be at risk.
I did like this part of her acknowledgements:
"Finally, the glorious Touchwood team - Taryn, Tori, Renée and Colin--deserve not just my abiding gratitude but enormous martinis."
