Sunflowers evoke the south of France and these I got from Trader Joe's a while ago are doing really well....often they kind of fade quickly.
The bougainvillea from here in Palm Springs but also very south of France. That's what is great about the desert...it is both in many ways.
Daffs from Trader's today and should be completely open tomorrow. Now I think we have to claim these as especially West Coast. I will always think of them that way at any rate.
