Last weekend we went to our local earthquake prep meeting for getting to know your neighbours in your zone. Canyon Sands is divided into 17 zones, 18 townhouses in each one. I was very impressed with the materials and also the organization of Ric and Melia who are the zone organizers. Among many other things, it was a good reminder to put hard hats or bicycle helmets, heavy gloves, sturdy shoes, flashlight, and these instructions under the bed. With all our moving around I forgot to put shoes under our bed in Vancouver.
One really good thing for our primarily seasonal community is to know who is here seasonally and full-time. About 1/3 of the residents here are full time.
