A wonderful break from unpacking...

John and Carol invited us for lunch yesterday and it was so great to take a break and of course,  Carol did her usual wonders in the kitchen....beautiful wild sockeye,  salads,  and a fruit pie with homemade pastry in her new blender.  All delicious.  Then a bit of a lie out in the garden.   The only downside...Mr.  Darcy did not honour us with his presence.
