Donna invited me to join her in a concert by this group at Temple Sholom. It was a fundraiser for the Grandmothers of Africa. The choir is led by Brian Tate who also writes some very interesting music like this one called "Connected". He said it was inspired by reading about particle physics where when you get to the smallest particles everything is connected. I really loved the idea and the beat.

Most of the songs were African, soul, and Gospel. This music is so uplifting to the soul! And the Sanctuary at Temple Sholom was a perfect setting. What a wonderful room.
Brian also wrote this song called "Greater Than" and it was sung last night with great emotion and dedicated to the victims of Orlando. So much love and kindness has come out of this horrific event.
