I've never been interested in the very brutal "sport" of heavy weight boxing and not paid much attention to the antics of Mohammed Ali but after reading about his life and his other accomplishments (the most time I've ever spent reading the the sports section of the newspaper!), I really do have to admire the man.

Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go 10,000 miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights?
