Super evening at Fern and John's

It was great to see Fern and John and Carole and Don and we were spoiled again with a wonderful meal and even home made pasta!  Sounds like John even got into the act with the pasta.  Fern made this wonderful French style pear tarte to absolutely die for.  Of course,  Fern is a world's expert at pastry and the short crust was the best I've ever had....all of it was the best I've ever had,  anywhere.  I even ate a whole large piece which is something I almost never do!

 Very tasty wine from Italy...they dry the grapes for a bit first.
