We missed our old friend yesterday since he didn't turn up at all. It was a pretty miserable day so perhaps he was cosy and warm or not let out. Jim got so far as to put on his golf sweater. John and Jeanette had invited us to Uplands for dinner so we learned that John and Allen played the full 18 holes, Mo hit one shot and left, and Ed played one hole.
