Apparently we will get almost no rain although it doesn't look that way from the photos I just took. We were at a very interesting presentation at the Rancho Mirage Library today called the "Wonders of the the Coachella Valley" and this is what the presenter told us. The downside of almost no rain is it will be a pretty average year for wildflowers. There must have been over 300 people at this talk. This library is just amazing in what they offer in terms of speakers, events, and of course the library materials themselves.
