We had our bookclub meeting yesterday and it is always such fun. The topic was:
"You are never too old to learn"
Prepare to discuss a fiction or non-fiction book that taught you a fact or skill or thought that you had never had before. What motivated you to read this book? What did you do with the new information? Were you inspired to share the book with someone else?
As usual Kathy had all sorts of interesting materials to hand out. I particularly liked this article from The Guardian.

Before Christmas I was very sad to learn Kathy is moving to the San Francisco area to be closer to her family. She is a very special person and has brought so much to the community of Canyon Sands. I thought this would be the end of the bookclub but Kathy is mentoring Deb to take it over. Deb will be wonderful and will put her own spin on it. I'm looking forward to future meetings!
