This was a late addition to my Christmas books. I began reading it in PS. David Lodge is always a delight and this was funny and insightful. Among other things, it focuses on how travelling to evermore exotic and distant locations is the new religion and also on religion itself, family, love, aging....a little bit of everything...some things a bit too close for comfort.
