Well, I guess it was the least stressful in terms of moving but three days even though we weren't doing everything was very tiring. The space is quite different so we have to think about a lot of things but my initial placement of furniture is working out pretty well so probably not too many changes. We still have a lot of stuff to get in the right place.
On the really positive side is we are absolutely loving the apartment and view and so nice not to have these idiots clattering above. We hear nothing really. We met our neighbours across the hall. She is a retired nursing instructor and very nice. We're also loving the neighbourhood. We have been treated to wonderful sunshine and sunsets so expect sunset photos again (John, I knew you'd be delighted....). We were really missing the sun in our very shady Lost Lagoon place.
The pool is wonderful and really enjoying the hot tub too. We've been swimming everyday. One thing we made sure we could find was our swim gear.
We are at Macdonalds accessing the Internet as there was a major glitch today when Shaw came to hook everything up. They did a complete reno of this place and it seems someone drywalled over the new connection. They did get on it right away but had to saw into the drywall. It seems they found it and Shaw is coming tomorrow so we hope everything goes ok. It was stress we didn't need but sipping wine in the sunshine on the balcony and enjoying the sunset helped.
I did a big shop at Save-On today and was quite impressed. It's a smaller store than a lot of what they have so that's probably why I liked it so much. Great fish market, butcher, bakery, ready made foods...the whole deal really and pretty good prices.
