Roast turkey dinner and grey skies

It was snowing a bit earlier but not now.  I loved watching it last night.  Most of the snow is off the trees.  Who knows what tomorrow will bring.  I was at Safeway today and they feature roast breast of turkey on Sundays so mashed potatoes and gravy,  buttered carrots,  and cranberries.  A fitting winter meal and we  just snacked on fresh guacamole I made up (Richard's recipe) so having a bit of the taste of southern climes.    Richard is in Victoria this weekend for Kristen's traditional Super Bowl party so I imagine he has been doing lots of snacking...

I bought some flowers at Safeway and also bought these sunflower plates there...love them!   They are perfect for my tablecloth (one of many)from the south of France.
