We have had a week of tech nightmares and Richard came 3 hours early yesterday to sort those out and then he took us all out to the Cactus Club for dinner. And then he came back after dinner and finished fixing stuff. Everything was wonderful as usual. For a starter, I had something I hadn't tried, "Beef Carpaccio". I thought I had had the best beef carpaccio in the world in Quimper, Brittany but this one was even better...wow!
Thank you so much, Richard, for everything. And thank you, Grace, for the cheeses and crackers. You are such a sweetheart to always bring over something yummy.

Today we went down to The Lift in Coal Harbour today and split a fish and chips. In the winter they have Icelandic haddock instead of their halibut. They only have the halibut when it is in season and fresh...that's why it's so good. We do love this restaurant...lovely views, a perfect walk, and great food and service. We had a great table by the window.
