Quite a lot of snow in Victoria...

Nothing like the blizzard of '96.  These are photos Susan took walking the dogs today.  Susan and Chris were our neighbours in Victoria and in '96, Chris had parked his car in front of our house.  By the end of the snowfall,  it was completely covered!  Some people couldn't open their doors because of the snow.  In our block of 12 houses,  only 3 people (we weren't one of them) had a snow shovel.  There were 10 ft.  drifts on our roof so Jim went up with a garden shovel and got some of it off.  We were concerned the roof would cave in.  What a time!

I've only seen one snowman on my travels in Vancouver.
