We usually go on a beautiful summer day and sit outside having lunch on the patio of the Cheshire Cheese Restaurant. Taking the Seabus and doing transit does require quite a bit of walking so I guess we didn't feel our knees were up to it before. It was one of those dull foggy days but the rain held off until we were heading home. Actually, it was quite fun and cosy to do it in this weather.
We had an excellent lunch…Jim, "Bangers and Mash" and me, "Oysters and Chips"…wonderful Fanny Bay oysters with a fabulous sauce….yum. And washed down with a California Cab…Beringer Stone Celler. Looking forward to getting lots of great California wine soon and cheap at Trader Joes.

Heading to North Van on the Seabus
This yacht with the helicopter is parked just by where the Seabus lands in North Van. We asked our server who owned it. The owner is Dennis Washington…owner of Seaspan and lots of other things it seems. His company built the "Fastcats"…made a big profit the first time then bought them back from our government and sold them at the profit to someone else.
A few items at Lonsdale Quay Market. This isn't a big food market but there are some things.
We hadn't noticed this craft beer brewery before. Next time, we'll do a beer tasting flight before lunch.
Coming back to the Vancouver side.
