Just back from a good long soak in the hot tub, chatting with a few neighbours, and a wonderful swim. Now, sipping red wine and listening to the crickets. Will have to get our hummingbird feeder in operation so we can enjoy their antics. Our tangelo orange tree seems to have a lot of fruit…should be ready just in time for Richard's arrival in December.
Warm enough to sit outside but too lazy to get the chair cushions out. Chairs probably need a wipe for dust. Beautiful starry night as usual. This area really got it right in terms of limiting lights so the night sky and the stars are preserved. The first time we came to Palm Springs it drove us crazy not to be able to see find things easily at night but we love it now.
Our first day in our desert paradise and it feels so wonderful!
