Richard got a really cool birthday present for Jim. On his recent road trip he was in Powell's Books in Portland and got two books specially printed up for him. They have this book printing machine there and can print up a book from any electronic source. It only takes about 10 minutes. And then you also get the leftover cuttings bound into a notepad….very cool!
And I got the book bag for my collection for my birthday….thanks, Richard. Great birthday gift ideas!

Richard and Grace drove down to San Francisco for a wedding and stayed at the Ace Hotel on the way down and The Kennedy School on the way back…both very neat venues.

The wedding was out at Eve and Danny's farm and it seems Richard was responsible for cooking the pig…a 24 hour job….!
