We went to the Marina Restaurant and had a super meal and a great view overlooking the boats and were there just as the bonfire was lit and we had a good view of that. This is an annual event the fire department puts on and always been popular but now with no fireworks I guess it's an even bigger deal for the little ones at least.
We always enjoyed putting on a firework display with the Lyden family as I know many other neighbourhoods did but overall it's a relief not to have them.
