Broadchurch Season 3

We finished this off last night on Netflix.  We really have enjoyed this series and it looks like this is the finale.  Great story,  acting,  and scenery!  We are a little surprised there aren't subtitles for North American audiences.  Even with our (especially Jim) ability to discern Scottish and Northern England  accents,  we sometimes had difficulty.  David Tennant really indulges his Scots accent in this series.

This from The Mirror about where it was filmed.   Perhaps one reason we liked it so much is we remember our happy times with Susan and Alan when we were all in Dorset together.

The show is predominantly filmed near the rocky cliff tops of West Bay in Dorset on the Jurassic Coast and the beautfiul seaside town of Clevedon in North Somerset.

The harbour village of West Bay features the dramatic East Cliff and beach that will be easily recognisable to viewers of the show.

Visit Dorset have launched a Broadchurch trail to enable fans to discover key locations from all three series that are within walking distance.

Some additional scenes were also filmed at the Western Daily Press offices in Bristol and shops, hotels and other buildings in Portishead, Shepton Mallet and Weston-Super-Mare were heavily used.
