Nicki organized for a group of ten of us to go so we had our own table....thanks so much, Nicki, it was so much fun as usual. Tony D'Jerlando was the entertainer and he is just great. We all had a nice chat with him as he worked the tables before the show began. And of course the food was amazing as usual ($15 for dinner)...lentil soup to start (perfect for the beginning of Lent as Stan reminded us), caesar salad, penne and meatballs and garlic bread and homemade chocolate cake for dessert (on a par with Carol's chocolate cake so that is really saying something!) all washed down with $10 a bottle Sicilian wine.
They have a "pasta social" every Wednesday evening except on March 17 when they are having a corned beef and cabbage event (all sold out). It does the soul a world of good to see all these people having such a wonderful time...you gotta love the Italians.

Tony does a lot of Sinatra era songs but always ends with a set of Elvis....terrific!
And as we were parking, Nicki noticed these wildflowers. It's going to be a fabulous year for wildflowers!
