What we woke up to our first day in 2017

The mountains have a wonderful cloak of snow and it is partly sunny.  The snow did turn to rain last night but hearing people walking it is very crunchy and probably icy.  We decided to postpone New Year's Day lunch with Carol and John.   There is a lot of snow in "Mt.  Dunbar" as usual.  A good day to be off the roads as it is quite cold.  I guess this snow will be staying around for a while.
