All Pho's are not created equal...

I met Susan K.  for lunch today at the Food Fair before my treatment and we decided to go with the Beef Pho soup.  I had only had this once before from a place on Denman.   It was fabulous.  Not so this one.  There was something that looked like beef but chewy and tasteless and then a lot of "mystery meat"  as Dick refers to it.   Well,  I won't be patronizing that kiosk again.  I think I might get brave and try the calamari that's on offer at another one.  I will be surprised if it is any good since I'm pretty fussy but you just never know.

It was fun to see Susan and we had a good chat.  She lucked into a great day for walking!
