Lunch in La Quinta today

We began at the La Quinta library and bought a few books (what else is new?) then had lunch at the restaurant we usually end up in…The Grill.  We had the fish and chips and they were the best so far in the desert.  We hadn't had them before or perhaps they weren't  on the menu.  They allowed us to substitute fries for a Caesar on one order and the Caesar was excellent as well.  Lots of wonderful bougainvillea  all over Old Town.

 I do love the painting on their street banner.

 Could be in the south of France….I'm sure the lavender motif tablecloth is from there.
