Darth Fiddler
Today I had a real craving for hot and sour soup so we went down to Chinatown and had a walk around downtown. It really hit the spot then we bought some duck and crispy pork for our dinner and had them put some in a separate box and we took it to Don in the hospital. He was going to have it for dinner (there's a microwave on the floor so Elaine could heat it up) and he was really looking forward to it. I'm sure he enjoyed it as much or more than we did!
It was fun seeing "Darth Fiddler" as we hadn't seen him before. It seems a year ago he got beaten up and his violin was smashed. People helped him out and bought him another violin. And just recently the person who did it turned himself in.
All in all...a great way to start 2012!
