I love Bravo's "Star Portraits" where they take a famous Canadian and have three artists paint a portrait of the person. The "star" decides on the one he/she wants to keep and the others go to a charity auction. Great idea and everyone gains. Today, Gordon Pinsent, was the person being featured (a portrait artist himself) and of course, since NewFoundland is about the only new place I want to visit it was great to listen to him. A quote he made which is very appropriate for some current things going on in my life is:
"Don't fight with pigs because you just get dirty and the pigs love it"...Right on, Gordon!
