We had Katey and David from London, UK, over for lunch today. Raclette was a perfect choice since it was rather cloudy and a bit cool. They had also served us a raclette in London (a specialty for them since they had lived in Switzerland) when we did the 1997 four month trip with various exchanges and rentals...the year Richard worked in London and went to all those music festivals like Glastonbury...mainly deep in mud as I recall. I cleaned his shoes when he met us in Yorkshire...yuck!
Anyway...great to see them again and hear about their big news is that David is becoming a wine merchant...wow...very exciting!
