Latest painting

My latest painting was inspired by this photo of our bookclub on North Secretary Island. I really liked the ocean, islands, and mountains in the background and I've been wanting to do something with bright coloured kayaks so when I saw this big white dock it seemed perfect. Oh...and some members (I wasn't one of them...) were going to kayak from Saltspring to North Secretary but being taken over by boat seemed to win out in the end.
