Chris and Susan come to visit....

and guess what?   We were having so much fun catching up about old times when we were neighbours in Victoria,  I completely forgot to take photos!   We had a wonderful afternoon and look forward to joining them at Pommes Frites on Saturday.    Jim and Chris will play golf next week.

We enjoyed many meals together,  Christmas,  New Year's....and it was wonderful that no one had to drive!

And they brought a couple of wonderful demi baguettes from Peninsula Pastries.  I was so glad they brought these as the demi baguette I bought there was overcooked and the crust was too hard so I assumed this is the way they did the baguettes.   These were just perfect and like our wonderful baguettes in Carqueiranne.   You don't get a good baguette these days even in France!
