Mucho gracias, Fern, for all your help today! You know my back just couldn't have taken it. Fern arrived today with miracle cleaning materials, a strong back, and was, as usual, cheerful even scrubbing away on her hands and knees...wow!

The place is gleaming!

Oh...and did I mention she brought home made curried shrimp crepes and cookies for lunch.

The day before Elaine did a whole lot of slogging of heavy bags and boxes and did a dump run with me. I may get out of this yet without hobbling around on a cane...
