Palm Springs Modernism Show and Sale

We hadn't been to this for a few years so decided to go today.  It was quite fun and lots of stuff for the eye.  And the price of admission is worth just being in this absolutely wonderful PS Convention Centre with the fabulous views of the mountains and surroundings.  Wow...this is an architectural treasure.  Then to drive home passing all the wonderful things we love about Palm Springs.

This table was priced at $12,000....apparently a special piece by Edward Wormley.

This was  Noah's Ark with all the two by two animals.

Jim got talking to this guy and apparently these chairs are by a cousin of Le Corbusier...priced at $6,000 each.

These Hawaiian shirts were quite cool.  This one from the New Orleans Jazz Festival.

I love these outdoor fireplaces and fire pits.

Now,  this chair is made from old cassette tapes....wow...a bit Mondrian like, don't you think?

Now,  anything that calls itself a "LANDYACTH" has got to be the ultimate in cool...

We both loved this old fosball game....or "baby foot" as they call it in France.

And of course it seemed like we had to have a martini when we got home.
