Glad to see this article in The Sun today…"Playtime never has to end"

Because I just bought a children's book and a colouring book!

Well,  the children's book is the third of the series of "Mr Got to Go",  the cat at the Sylvia hotel and at our ATC meeting,  there was a lot of talk about the latest fad…"colouring books for adults".  I found one on Amazon that was on Matisse so I couldn't resist it.

I just love the illustrations on the end pages showing Mr. Got to Go's "journey".

Quite a neat book….especially like having the original paintings copied for reference if you want to colour them that way.

And in other news today which isn't quite so much fun is an article about how Vancouver hotels are charging the moon during this time of the fireworks,  Pride Parade,  and BC Day.  The Fairmont Waterfront is charging over $1000 for a standard room.

It reminds me of the "old days" when the Sylvia Hotel was one of the very few hotels that charged the same in the summer as in the winter.  Families who wanted reasonable accommodation for the summer booked from year to year in advance.   Jim and I took advantage of their low summer rates at least once but all good things come to an end.
