A few items from today's Desert Sun on Afghanistan:
"More Afghan civilians are dying in U.S. and allied (i.e. Canada) operations than at the hands of the Taliban, according to a count by The Associated Press."
"The Bush policy of imprisioning enemy combatants in Afghanistan without trial? The Obama White House is OK with that." And I guess Canada is too as I haven't heard anything to the contrary.
