Our last day in Houston

It was great weather today and we started by visiting an art gallery in the Museum District and lunch by the pool in the area called ZaZa Hotel. Very chichi. When we were having lunch a group of very excited guys jumped into the pool...seems they just got a platinum record.

Then back to the hotel for a swim...we were thinking about you guys in Victoria in the snow...

It was a very balmy evening and we had a lot of fun at the Houston International Festival downtown. Listened to some neat African music and a tribute to Cab Calloway from the Cotton Club group. We were tempted by the smoked turkey legs but went for a combo plate of Italian saucage, chicken, shrimp and jambalaya...yum! This guy on stilts was quite funny...Jim was having fun.

Our dinner

Someone enjoying a turkey leg.

I took this from the festival...the reflection of the other building looks like the leaning Tower of Pisa.
